In late 2006, Zefferino Von Kurnatowski created Biggz Tree Services. While working as a counselor and also being a full-time student, he dreamed of something different.  With himself and just 2 other employees, he gave tree care a shot.  He started out climbing the trees himself but after 8 trees decided a bucket truck was necessary.  On his first climb he nearly gave up, but he decided to stick it out to at least earn the pay he needed to replace a fence he had damaged below. 

From there, a desire to compete in this industry kept him going.
In 2008, after hurricane Gustav, Zeff was able to hire more employees and the business really took off from there.  From 2008 until 2021 Zeff worked hard to build a customer base with strong values and beliefs:

In June of 2021, Corey and Stephani Huff took over the business and it became Biggz Professional Tree Care. Along with their 6 children, Corey and Stephani took a leap of faith and moved from central Illinois to keep the business going and continue Zeff’s legacy of providing an efficient, professional, customer-centered tree care experience for Baton Rouge and beyond!
